The size is 21.5cm long and the width is 4.2cm wide at the widest point.
**Please note this is a Regular Filter in a White Casing (our original style). But the current Regular Stainless Bottles come with a Black filter on a stem. However you can unscrew your black stem and use this replacement filter. Please keep your black stem though as the White Casing filters are being phased out. In future all filters will be the small black ones on the stem. Any questions please let us know.
| FAQs | Q: What bottle does this filter fit? A: This is designed as the replacement filter for the stainless steel filter bottle, but it will also fit the 700ml plastic filter bottle and 800ml Travel Safe filter bottle. Q: What does BPA-free mean? A: A BPA-free product is one which does not contain the compound BPA or Bisphenol A. BPA is a compound used to make polycarbonate plastics (clear, shatter proof plastics) and epoxy resins (glues and coatings). This compound has the same properties and mimics the effects of the female hormone estrogen. Research has shown that BPA has a negative effect on fetal and infant brain development and behavior. Links have also been made between BPA consumption and obesity. A study by the Yale School of Medicine in 2008 found a connection between BPA and the interference with the brains cells related to memory, mood and learning. Many other studies have been undertaken and have shown links between BPA and cancer, thyroid dysfunction, reproductive issues and attention deficits. All of our products are BPA-free. Q: Can I remove the plastic filter casing without damaging the filter? A: You can carefully remove the plastic filter cover. It is designed simply to offer additional protection for the filter, but the filter can be used without the cover on. In fact, removing the cover will very slightly improve the flow-rate. Please remember that care should be taken not to knock or damage the filter whenever the cover is not being used, and be sure to remove the cover to check the filter for cracks should you drop the filter and suspect it may be damaged. |

All deliveries will be sent by Courier Post from our warehouse premises in West Auckland, for a standard fee of $10 per order (for orders under $150). If ordered after lunchtime, or on a weekend, the parcel will leave the next business day.
Orders over $150.00 are sent free of charge.
- Deliveries within Auckland will be delivered within 1 - 3 business days.
- Within the North Island they can be expected within 2 - 4 business days.
- Deliveries within South Island can be expected within business 4 - 6 business days.
- For Rural deliveries please add an additional day.
